Great news! More trails! Set to open this Fall!
The Triangle Land Conservancy is providing us with 7 miles of mountain bike trail and 4.5 miles of hiking trail at the Brumley Nature Preserve in Hillsborough! TORC is partnering with TLC to build and maintain the trails. The Brumley Trails will open November 5, 2016, they are not currently open to the public.
We invite you to our urban ride scavenger hunt to help raise the remaining funds needed to get us rolling! For those that will be visiting Brumley more for the hiking trails, there will be a runner/walker option at this event for anyone interested in doing the Scavenger Hunt without a bike.
2:30 arrival time. Take off at 3pm on your adventure!
If you can’t make the scavenger hunt urban ride/run/walk through Carrboro and downtown Chapel Hill, please consider being a virtual participant and donating $10 to the cause! Good trails don’t happen without community-wide support!
Here’s some poetic fun to get you motivated for the hunt!
