TORC’s races are a great way to meet other local mountain bikers and compete.

TORC holds several races per year. Each race usually has multiple categories, so that you can compete with others at your skill level as individuals or as a team.

2016 Race Calendar

We have a mix of endurance and XC races this year, train for endurance, train for XC speed or be a monster and do everything:

Curse at the Crab Endurance race – April 17

Summer Fun – June/July

Crabtree Moar XC July 10

Beaverdam/New Light Challenge August 28

Umstead Gravel Grinder 50/100 miler Oct. 29

6BC Endurance Race Nov. 6

There will be swag/gift cards/prizes for all categories thanks to our awesome local sponsors!  All net proceeds from our races goes back to our trail building fund and supports both the maintenance, re-routes and build of new trails in the Triangle.

Thank you for your support.  Hope to see you all on the trails!

This would be my first endurance race. I’m really excited. Can I use a standard mountain bike or one with full suspension? Thank you

You should use the bike you are most comfortable riding, but I am not sure which endurance race you are talking about?
